Your time is valuable to us and we set this time aside specifically for you.

We ask that you honor our environment of peace and tranquility by keeping voice levels low, silencing your cell phone upon entry into the spa and refraining from answering calls during your service. Also, children are not allowed in the spa. We offer permanent makeup and it is too great a risk and liability for children to be present in the spa. Children may also not be left unattended and no one is allowed in the treatment room with you during your service. Please make arrangements for your children before your appointment to avoid cancellation fees.

Microblading FAQ

Microblading is a form of permanent cosmetics where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual tool. Drawing hair-like strokes to mimic natural hairs in your brows will create fuller and perfect brows.

Up to 18 months. Hair color, skin type, after-care, and lifestyle also affect longevity of the results. Occasional touch-ups are a way to refresh the results. Done correctly, the treatments do not change color and fade naturally away with time.

Yes, a touch up session after 6-8 weeks is necessary as everyone heals differently and the outcome will vary from person to person. Certain areas may need to be refilled.  Pigment color may need to be adjusted; brow thickness can be adjusted and more strokes can be added if necessary. Your touch up session for refining your brows to ensure it looks perfect and retains its color for as long as possible.

Brow shaping is part of our treatment.  When you go for brow shaping maintenance after Microblading, request that your esthetician follow your existing brow shape.

Most clients report little to no pain. However, it may hurt a little. The good news is that we will apply a numbing cream prior to treatment and chances are that you will feel little to no pain.

There is no downtime but the eyebrow will take about one week to fully heal.  The brow will soften in color by up to 40-50% over that time.

Skin Care

On your first visit you will be asked to fill out our Facial Consent form which covers relevant health and skin history to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for you. Your esthetician will conduct a brief consultation with you before the service to determine which products and services best fit your skin care needs and goals. Your esthetician will then instruct you on the process of getting comfortable for your service. Some treatments require some disrobing for which the esthetician will leave the room while you undress to your comfort level. During the service, all you have to do is relax. Your esthetician will clearly communicate any relevant information or action needed during the treatment. Keep an open line of communication with your esthetician throughout the service, especially if anything is uncomfortable.

Everyone’s skin responds differently to skin care services. There is a slight chance that you may break out within 2-3 days after your service. Due to the exfoliation process in our skin care services; your skin may “purge” anything that is right below the surface of your skin before your treatment. These breakouts are usually mild and clear up within a few days. Just remember NO PICKING!

If you experience an allergic reaction after a skin care service, please let us know as soon as possible and consult your physician.

An SPF or 30 or higher is applied to your skin to finish your treatment. Most skin care services make your skin a little more sensitive to the sun due to the exfoliations process during the service. Daily application of an SPF of 15 or higher is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to protect your skin from the damaging effects of the sun. Limiting sun exposure and heat for 24-48 hours is advised. Also, vigorous aerobic activity, swimming in pools with chlorine or use of hot tubs, steam rooms and saunas are advised against during this time as well. If the treatment you are receiving requires any specific lifestyle accommodations, your esthetician will discuss those with you upon completion of the service.

We recommend every 3-5 weeks for regular maintenance. This allows your esthetician to monitor your skin through the seasons to help you maintain a healthy, glowing complexion. Your esthetician will discuss recommendations with you after your service if a more frequent schedule is recommended to help you achieve maximum results.
Put simply: healthy, glowing skin! We chose our products and services to help get (and keep) your skin healthy.
Some people will see results immediately and your skin should feel better after your first treatment. Skin care is a continuous, daily process so some conditions such as acne, aging and hyperpigmentation usually require a series of treatments to start seeing significant results. Your skin will continuously improve as you follow the advice and recommendations from your esthetician and continue with your home care regimen.
We recommend being diligent with your home skin care. Regular cleansing, toning, exfoliating, nourishing treatment, hydrating and protecting will help your skin to remain healthy and continue to improve as you go through treatment with your esthetician.
It is not necessary because your esthetician will thoroughly cleanse your skin, however, removal of excess eye makeup may cut into your service time.

There is no need to wash your face after a skin care service. Your esthetician will finish your service with a treatment serum, eye treatment, moisturizer, SPF and lip hydrator. Makeup may be applied 10-15 min after most skin care services, however, we strongly advise against wearing makeup after a skin care treatment.

Your esthetician will analyze your skin in your first treatment and ask about your skin’s history. We recommend starting with a Signature Facial for relaxation and to allow you to get to know your esthetician and communicate your skin care goals and concerns. Your esthetician will then make recommendations on a skin care plan for your individual needs.

You may also call the spa at any time if you have a question and our esthetician can answer your questions and help you choose the best service to start with.

We carry an array of professional products which can be purchased for home care use to maintain and maximize your results in between services.
Yes, children between the ages of 12-17 may receive select skin care services with parent/guardian consent. A minor consent form is required and must be filled out by a parent/guardian prior to any service. A parent/guardian must be present for the entire skin care service of any minor aged 15 and under.

Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation which utilizes a sterile surgical blade to remove the top layer of skin (2-3 weeks worth of dead skin cells) and the “peach fuzz” from face. It is non-invasive and very comfortable. Great option for pregnant women wanting exfoliation. Skin is brighter, smoother, more youthful and glowing after. Skin care products are able to penetrate more deeply and makeup application is smoother. Active acne is a restriction, as your esthetician may not perform the dermaplaning on any raised surfaces on the face.

Microdermabrasion is another form of physical exfoliation that utilizes a Diamond Tip wand with vacuum suction. Most clients describe it as “a little scratchy” but not uncomfortable. The vacuum suction stimulates lymphatic flow throughout face, promoting the internal health of your skin as well. Good option for those with acne scars or other forms of hyperpigmentation. Microdermabrasion may be performed on someone with active acne, at your esthetician’s discretion. Your esthetician will not perform microdermabrasion over open acne lesions.

Lash Lift & Tint

It is a lifting technique designed to give you more defined, longer-looking lashes without the need for eyelash extensions. It gives you the same effect as an eyelash curler, except the results of a Lash Lift typically last 6-8 weeks. You may also add tinting to your lift to give your lashes a mascara-like darkness for 2-3 weeks. Tinting is best for lighter colored lashes but can also enhance darker lashes that have lighter tips. The procedure takes about 45-60 minutes.

If you use waterproof mascara, discontinue use at least 2 days prior to your lift appointment. If you wear contacts, please take them out before your lift to avoid any irritation. Most importantly, please arrive to your appointment completely free of eye makeup.

The lift will not make your lashes any fuller because no additional lashes are being added. This treatment simply enhances your natural lashes. Most of the time, lashes do appear slightly more full because they are so uplifted.
Do not get lashes wet or apply anything to them for at least 24 hours after a lift. When cleansing your face for the entire life of your lift, use cool to lukewarm water. Do not use hot water to clean lashes. Brush your lashes daily (your lash lift technician will give you a brush to take home after your service). Steer clear of waterproof mascara for the entire life of your lift.
Yes, mascara will give your lashes an even more dramatic look after a lift. Just stay away from waterproof mascara.
Harsh chemicals are used to make the mascara waterproof. This makes them extremely drying to your lashes. Also, since waterproof mascara is harder to remove, you have to use extra effort and tug on your lashes to remove the mascara. Additionally, most people still do not get the mascara off completely so your lashes constantly have this drying, damaging formula on them 24 hours a day. Results can be breakage, weakened lashes and over shedding. Also, regular waterproof mascara use can cause poor lift results due to weakened lashes.
No, as long as you follow the pre prep and post care instructions. The lifting solutions are only applied to the base of lashes and up a bit, never to the ends of the lashes.
On occasion, lashes with a strong cowlick or slanted growth pattern or lashes which have growth patterns in the eye area due to plastic surgery can be resistant to curl. We advise talking to your Lash Lift Technician and giving the lift a try once to see how your lashes hold the curl.
No. At first it may feel a little strange when the lifting rod is applied to your eyelid. Fort he most part, it is a very comfortable and relaxing experience.
Yes, your lift may even be more dramatic if your lashes have grown with the serum.
Absolutely! These types of lashes experience great results from lash lifting. After, your lashes will be evenly dispersed and lifted, usually appearing longer.
Most of the time, yes. We have different size rods for the lifting procedure. If your lashes are too short to curl around the rod, it may be a little challenging. We recommend trying it out and seeing how you do. Your Lash Lift Technician can better assess your situation when you come in for your appointment.
We always advise consulting your physician before any service you may be in doubt about. As long as he/she signs off on it, you should be fine!
You need to wait at least 1 year from your surgery. Your eye area usually will have increased sensitivity after the surgery and you need to give yourself time to heal properly. Consult your physician before scheduling your appointment to be sure.
Yes, but you need to wait at least 6 months. After that time, consult your physician to be sure.
Those with chronic dry eye, conjunctivitis, damaged lashes or lashes with gaps (the Lift may make the gaps more noticeable), active eye infections of any kind, trichotillomania (habitual pulling out of lashes), recent chemo treatments (you will need to wait at least a year after your last treatment). When in doubt, always consult your physician before booking your appointment.

Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash extension is the technique in which lashes are attached to each of the clients’ natural lashes with lash adhesive to enhance the length, curliness, and thickness of natural eyelashes.

Each application we provide is customized to your demand but we also customize your extension look on the basis of your natural eye shape and natural lash texture. Visually, you will see the difference in length, volume and curl from your natural lashes but typically you will not feel the extensions themselves. The lash extensions we use are very soft.

We allow for two full hours when applying a full set to a client and consultation will take just 5-10 minutes. Touch up appointments can be from 30 minutes to 1 hour. The time it takes depends upon the number of lashes applied.

You will get after care instructions after your initial set of lash extensions. Refills are done every two, three or four weeks depending on how quickly your natural lashes shed and grow.

Lash extensions last through a full growth cycle of natural eyelashes. It sheds with the natural shedding of lash during the growth and shedding process. Since each person’s natural lash growth is variable, just like hair growth, we suggest light maintenance every two weeks to three weeks to maintain a fuller look.

It is not recommended to use mascara with eyelash extensions because the mascara may interfere with the bond of the adhesive and allow for early separation between the extension and the natural lash.

It is recommended to use oil-free makeup remover only. Using too many oil-based products can break down the adhesive.

Do not use an eyelash curler with your extensions.

Do not get the lashes wet for the first 24 hours after application.

Do not use a sauna, go to a spa, or pool for the first 24 hours.

Do wash your lashes with your regular skin care regimen or specific eyelash wash, but make sure to blot and pat dry your lashes. DO NOT RUB or SCRUB!

Brush with a clean mascara wand daily.

Yes! Extensions vary from a very natural look to super glamorous!

Please cleanse your eyes with oil free makeup remover to remove any remaining mascara. It is helpful to have clean eyelashes before arriving to your appointment, so no time is wasted by having to cleanse your lashes during the beginning of your appointment time. Lashes should also not be curled or permed at the time of your appointment

Due to some natural growth cycle of your lashes you will find your natural lash shed every 60-90 days as new ones grows in. We recommend getting a fill every two, three or four weeks to fill in lashes on the new growth

No, your natural eyelashes will continue to grow normally.

After Care

  • Do not get your eyelashes wet for the first two hours.
  • Avoid pulling or rubbing your eyes.
  • Do not use a spa, sauna or pool for the first 24 hours. The extensions need that amount of time to properly bond.
  • Use Luke warm or cold water to clean your lash.  Avoid hot water.
  • Do not use eyelash curlers with your extensions. With proper application you will not need them.
  • ONLY use oil-free makeup remover. Oil based product on your eyes will weaken the glue and extension sheds faster.
  • If your eyelashes are tangled or crossed over, use the Spoolie given to you during your appointment to gently brush them straight and put them in place.
  • Proper hygiene is very important. Please keep lashes clean by regular washing. We have a special foaming Lash cleanser in our salon.
  • Avoid using Mascara. If emergency only apply the mascara to the tips of your lashes. Mascara shouldn’t be waterproof based since its hard to clean and will make the lash look clumpy.
  • After showering avoid rubbing lashes, it best to blot them with a towel and let them air dry.
  • You can also dry the lashes by using a hair dryer on the cool setting and blowing them dry from the bottom up. It makes them curlier and fluffy.
  • Neeta Lash and Beauty Spa recommends touch-up appointments every two to four weeks to maintain your new eyelash extensions.
